Short Biography of Torrance Mayberry

Biography

Torrance Mayberry is an Information Technology, science and data engineering professional.  He has personally developed enterprise software for business analytics, data warehousing, and enterprise resource planning at Oracle PeopleSoft and Informatica corporation in the Silicon Valley.  He has developed software in the US with firms like Dynamic Research Corporation, Metis Associates and Annie E Casey Foundation to support state-wide child welfare eligibility, child support and childcare human services delivery.  He has also co-developed Intervention Services-Activity Based Costing to enable policy makers to evaluate the relative performance of human services programmes and interventions in support of Outcome Based Decision Making. 

He has run business intelligence and data warehouse units at InterContinental Hotels Group, General Electric, Westpac Bank New Zealand Limited, and led the data engineering and data scientist pursuits at start-up Antuit, a Goldman Sachs portfolio company.  More recently, he has been a Cloud Solution Architect Data, Analytics & AI at Microsoft.  With a focus on innovating modern Data, Analytics & AI 'designs & build-with' engagements with partners and customers, which is enabling the successful implementation and adoption of Data, Analytics & AI capabilities.     

Interests:  Cognitive Neuroscience, Network Science, and Human Machine Interaction.
